Understanding of the process

Unlike impulsive and spontaneous ink painting, Korean Color Painting is planned ahead and painted with many layers of glue and color. Color gets profound and saturated with multiple layers of color and air. Students MUST wait until the color or coating applied on paper gets dried completely before adding another layers of color or coat. This unique process requires extra patience and time. But through this process students will learn the beauty of waiting and contemplation.
