During this 4th week, the students with artist Sol Aramendi, went to visit the Interference Archive in Gowanus and Mary Mattingly studio in Dumbo, both based in Brooklyn.
The class was able to learn more about different types of social practice: an archive that contains information and objects related to social movements in America and worldwide, and has an open accessibility policy for all: and Mary Mattingly’s art work related to sustainability and how to involve and be involved in the community with her projects.
Thanks again Sol for organizing this exciting session; thanks to Archive Interference and Mary for hosting and sharing with us all your work and experience.
