Week 6, Our last class

Painting a Landscape:

In this our last class, we created a beautiful landscape watercolor painting.
Here is the photo we used:

Watercolors are an excellent medium for creating dramatic landscapes. With their fluid nature, they are especially suited to making soft, gradual colors for magnificent sunsets, rich shadows for dramatic effect, and angular mountain ridges. See our simple watercolor painting video below:

You will see all these elements appear as he shows you how to create your own amazing landscape. I suggest that if possible, you watch the video and paint a new landscape by repeating step by step what we did together in class.
