Last class, we focused on painting a still life consisting of some bananas, an apple, and a lime. We developed the technique of glazing. That is, we build the colors based on thin layers of color superimposed one over the other, waiting for the paper to dry between layers so as not to become saturated with water or damage what was initially painted. Also an additional link to a very interesting video I found about glazing, a technique we worked on in the week before our Thanksgiving break.
