La clase de Paisaje de Acuarela del 6 de julio, estaba destinada a ser una clase que se centraría en los detalles de primer plano. El tema de la vegetación, su tono, tono y sombra fueron explorados cuidadosamente. Muchos de los estudiantes ya habían comenzado un nuevo paisaje durante la clase anterior. Por esta razón, tenían la confianza de continuar rápidamente a medida que avanzaban. Los otros comenzarían un nuevo boceto de acuarela de tamaño postal nuevo y un nuevo paisaje de 9×6 pulg.

Después de la primera hora de la clase, los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de participar en una demostración de técnicas de aplicación. Las técnicas estaban destinadas a dar opciones sobre cómo representar diferentes tipos de árboles, hojas, pastos y flores. Los estudiantes pudieron investigar diferentes tipos de verdes y pinceles que eran apropiados para sus palets.

Aquellos estudiantes que estaban haciendo una nueva pintura en la segunda mitad de la clase, tenían la opción de paisaje, paisaje marino, paisaje semiurbano o una combinación. Este sería el comienzo de su última o segunda a la última pintura. Los estudiantes también planearon qué alimentos querían traer para el cierre de las clases de paisajes de acuarela antes del termino de las mismas.

The Watercolor Landscape class of July 6, was meant to be a class that would focus on foreground details. The subject of vegetation, it’s tone, hue, and shade were explored carefully.  Many of the students had already started a new landscape during the previous class. For this reason, they had the confidence to continue rapidly as they came in. The others would start a new fresh post-card size watercolor sketch and a new 9×6 in. landscape.

After the first hour of the class, the students were given the opportunity to participate in a demonstration of application techniques. The techniques were meant to give options on how to depict different types of trees, leaves, grasses, and flowers. The students could investigate different types of greens and brushes that were appropriate for their pallets.

Those students that were doing a new painting on the second half of the class, had the choice of landscape, seascape, semi-urban landscape, or a combination. This would be the start of their last or second to last paintings. The students also planned what food they wanted to bring for the closing of the Watercolor Landscape Classes before leaving.
