La clase de fotografía en español es una buena excusa para conocer la ciudad, estar en contacto con el arte mientras se aprenden cuestiones técnicas de la fotografía digital. La clase fue en el espacio del Museo de Queens en el barrio de Corona Queens, llamado Immigrant Movement, la ubicación perfecta para una clase enfocada en immigrantes latinos. Los alumnos aprendieron de otras culturas, de diferentes lugares en la ciudad, como contar una historia, una secuencia y a interactuar con la comunidad. Tambien visitamos el Museo de Queens y terminamos publicando un libro con imagenes y palabras de la clase.

The photography class in Spanish is a good excuse to get to know the city, be in touch with art while you learn Digital Photography. The class was held at the Immigrant Movement the space the the Queens Museum of Art has in Corona, Queens. The perfect location for Latino immigrants. Participants got the chance to learn about other cultures, different places in new York, how to tell a story, a sequence and to interact with the community. We also visit the Queens Museum of Art. We finish publishing a book with images and words of the class.
