「動態影像博物館」位於皇后區阿斯托利亞，與「考夫曼製片廠」相鄰。在這個區域有久遠的電影歷史：1920年起與派拉蒙影業合作製作百老匯歌舞劇，1932年後製作獨立電影，1941年被國家收購，製作軍隊宣傳片，到了1978年正式成為歷史遺產，現為考夫曼所擁有的製片廠。
The Museum of the Moving Image is located near Kaufman Studios, which has long history since 1920s.
由於空調維修，我們只能參觀博物館二樓，從明星的肖像照開始，介紹了1930年匈牙利攝影師 Muky Munkacsi 所開始的電影劇照拍攝，演變成現今的劇照師職業；豐富的特殊化妝模型，也看見了經典《1941 大國民 Citizen Kane》老妝翻模的實體模型，另外還有電影美術的模型程設，道具蒐藏包含《1991 沈默的羔羊 The Silence of the Lambs》《1939 綠野仙蹤 The Wizard of Oz》並且參觀了時代劇的服裝設計。
We started from the second floor, which has Muky Munkacsi’s still photography collection, and amazing special makeup, art, props, and clothing exhibition.
劇本在電影製作中扮演重要的角色，博物館收藏了馬丁史克西斯《1976 計程車司機 Taxi Driver》的重要原稿劇本、還有場記表；還有一部分陳列了1911年開始的粉絲雜誌，以及迪士尼與華納開始的周邊商品。我們也參觀了電影院的海報收藏，看見了其設計風格從早期高尚的劇院藝術，演變成現在配爆米花的普及娛樂。裝置藝術劇院「圖坦卡門狂熱戲院 Tut’s Fever Movie Palace」是對於1920年代異國電影的致敬，現場還播放特展的《布偶歷險記》影片。
The museum has scripts, fan magazines, and film merchandises. The posters collection also introduce how movie industry changes. Finally, we visited a big theater installation “Tut’s Fever Movie Palace”.
本期美國布偶大師「吉姆亨森」的特展 The Jim Henson Exhibition，有著豐富的收藏，介紹他兒時受到他畫家奶奶以及電視文化的影響，讓他十八歲（1955年）就因 Sam and Friends 布偶劇在電視界立足，之後他的電視節目成就包含《芝麻街 Sesame Street》、《布偶歷險記 The Muppet Show》，甚至跨足電影市場，在1980年代拍攝《夜魔水晶 The Dark Crystal》《魔王迷宮 Labyrinth》。
“The Jim Henson Exhibition” has large collection of his puppet models, and also introduces his famous shows, such as “Sesame Street” and “The Muppet Show”.
「新類型：網路世代的影像 The New Genres: Video in the Internet Age」展覽，將現今的網路影片用類型分析的角度分為6大類：自發性知覺經絡反應 ASMR、解釋影片 Explainer、電玩實況 Video games、反應類型 Reaction Video、開箱 Unboxing、影像網誌 Vlog等等。
“The New Genres: Video in the Internet Age” analyzes youtube videos from genre perspective. It has 6 basic genres: ASMR, Explainers, Video games, Reaction Videos, Unboxing and Vlog.
我們最後回顧了影評作業，並發表學員們的電影提案，大家投票結果前六名：艾奉的生日（蔣傳葵）、尋親（Dominic）、輪迴（嘉美）、金色冒險號（Echo Mei）、愛麗絲（陸雅惠）、詭（Diana Chen）。不論是社會寫實、類型和實驗性電影，學員們都展現了豐富的想像力。
Last but not least, we reviewed all participants’ brilliant film pitches. The top 6 highest votes were: Aifeng’s birthday (CK), Finding roots (Dominic), Reincarnation (Chia-Mei), Golden Venture (Echo Mei), Alice (Ya-Hui), and Deceitful (Diana Chen).
