La clase de hoy fue divertida, los estudiantes tuvieron que empezar a considerar cómo van a componer y presentar sus esculturas. Tuvieron la última oportunidad en el taller de hacer moldes con yeso, silicona y moldes de arcilla con base de aceite.

Después de eso, reunieron todos los moldes de papel y yeso que han estado haciendo durante las últimas clases para comenzar a trabajar en la composición del mismo.

Exploraron su creatividad para componer una escultura más grande usando las piezas separadas que han estado vaciando en yeso, y papel.

Otro elemento con el cual  se divirtieron mucho fue pensar en el color que tendrían sus piezas en combinación con su tridimensionalidad. Algunos estudiantes optaron por pintar con acrílicos otros con acuarela, algunos yendo hacia la representación realista de los modelos, mientras que otros escogieron un enfoque monocromático.

Concentrándose en finalizar su obra de arte, cada uno de ellos con su proceso creativo experimentó e hizo sus elecciones. Lo más importante que todos llegaron a un estado de fluidez mientras creaban.

Today’s class was fun, students had to start to consider how they will compose and present their sculptures. They had the last chance in the workshop to make casts using their plaster, silicone and oil clay molds.

After that they gathered all the paper and plaster casts they have been doing along the past classes to start working on the composition of it.

They explored their creativity to compose a larger sculpture using the separated pieces they have been casting.

Other element they had so much fun was to think about color in combination with the three-dimensional pieces. Some students chose to paint with acrylic others with watercolor, some going towards realistic representation of the models, others choosing a monochromatic approach.

Focusing in finalizing their artwork, each of them with their creative process experimented and made their choices.  The most important they all got to a flow state while creating.
