Este taller de tres horas de duración  se desarrolló en dos partes:

La primera parte fue una introducción teórica e histórica a la práctica del collage, montaje y foto-montaje en: Cubismo; Dadaísmo; Surrealismo; Constructivismo; Pop Art, Apropiaciones y otros exponentes del arte moderno y contemporáneo.

La segunda parte fue la realización de collages por los asistentes del taller; experimentaron con diferentes materiales e hicieron sus propias piezas tomando como referencias a los artistas que analizamos en la primera parte de la clase.

This was a One Time NNY workshop that was developed in two parts:

First participants were exposed to a theoretical and historical introduction about the collage, assembly and photo-montage in: Cubism; Dadaism; Surrealism; Constructivism; Pop Art, appropriations and others exponents in modern and contemporary art.

The second part was centered in the making of collages by NNYers participants. They experimented with different materials to make their own pieces taking as references the artists’ artworks that were analyzed during the first part of the class.
