“During our last class participants played bingo while learning Spanish words for the parts of the body. It was a time of fun and enjoyable practice. We also reviewed the colors and presentations of the previous week.We made a visit to the Mierle Laderman Ukeles’ table sculptural installation, learning about the meaning of it, chatting in Spanish with museum staff, making also a short visit to the Tiffany Gallery and then with the ideas collected and learned so far, students began a collage to represent themselves bringing memories, playing with colors making a collage that will be completed by the end of the next class.
Participants are as always very enthusiastic and are quickly learning new words”.

El pasado sábado nuestro grupo se integro maravillosamente con un bingo sobre las partes del cuerpo, fue un momento de practica divertida y amena. Repasamos los colores y presentaciones de la semana anterior. Hicimos una visita a la exhibición de  Mierle Laderman Ukeles  y conversamos con empleados del museo en español, vistamos también Tiffany Gallery y luego con las ideas recogidas y lo aprendido hasta el momento, los estudiantes iniciaron un collage cuya idea es representarse a si mismos o un lugar que les traiga recuerdos, jugando con colores y motivandolos a traer cualquier otra cosa que quieran agregar a este collage que sera terminado para la clase final. Este grupo de estudiantes es muy entusiasta y están aprendiendo velozmente nuevas palabras.
