In today’s class the students got a chance to discuss about their experiences visiting neighborhoods of different cultures. Each one of them got the opportunity to learn about the lifestyles and the foods within that group. One of the students who went to The Real Little Italy in the Bronx mentioned how the Little Italy that is located in Manhattan is not the original one and is slowly losing itself. Another student went to 74 street Jackson Heights shared about visiting the Bangladesh society. She mentioned how it is very important for females to wear as much jewelry because it symbolized beauty. After sharing, the students got to learn how to work with their camera in Manual Mode and also how to change the Aperture and Shutter. For homework this week they are expected to take a self portrait using or wearing objects that have to say about their personality.

En la clase de hoy los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de hablar sobre sus experiencias visitando barrios de diferentes culturas. Tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender sobre los estilos de vida y alimentos que caracterizan a esa cultura.  Uno de los estudiantes  visito La Pequeña Italia en el Bronx, no tan conocida cómo la original Little Italy  situada en Manhattan que  poco a poco se va perdiendo. Otro estudiante fue a la calle 74 en Jackson Heights y visito una comunidad  de Bangladesh, mencionó que es muy importante para las mujeres usar joyería, ya que simboliza belleza. Después de compartir las experiencias vividas los estudiantes tuvieron que aprender a trabajar con su cámara en modo manual y  entendieron también cómo cambiar la apertura y la obturación de la misma.
